How did I get
here?
"I started in sport psychology and realized I wanted to address more than what was happening on the field/court. This led me to pursue counseling.
My journey was a winding road, but it created a unique combination of tools, education, & experience--all of which I use when working with my patients!"
Why do I do what
I do?
"To me it’s a privilege to take part in someone’s journey to healing. I believe it is my purpose in life, and I am blessed with the tools, values, and opportunities that allow me to do this. I don’t ever want to take my skills for granted, and I love what I do."
Who am I outside the
office?
"I grew up in VB but spent the last 12 years in Phoenix. Most of my time is spent with family & friends, typically doing 1 of 3 things: eating, traveling, or talking about eating & traveling. I head to the beach as much as I can, am an avid runner, & have the cutest dachshund named Aldo. After working in high stress environments for many years, I’ve learned not to take myself too seriously & the importance of work-life balance, which is why I’m so fortunate to have found a place at Coastal Light!"
