How did I get
here?
"I double majored in Early Childhood Ed. and Psychology with a goal to teach and provide therapy after school. After teaching for a while, being married to a sailor, and many moves, I worked on earning a Doctorate in Psychology. I’m blessed to have worked with so many patients all over the world."
Why do I do what
I do?
"Experiencing a tough childhood, I realized people need someone to be there, to care, and help them through hard times with empathy and compassion. I’m privileged and honored to be there for patients and build relationships that facilitate positive change in their mental health and well-being."
Who am I outside the
office?
"I’m an empathic person in and outside of therapy, as I believe most of us want to be seen, heard, understood, and loved. As a result, family and friends get my attention and help when I’m not working. I’ve been with my Navy sailor for 31 years and have experienced life and patients across the country and overseas. Our teenager keeps us busy. I love to travel, learn new things, and meet genuine people. I’m dedicated to and enjoy working on my own physical and mental health. I love music/singing!"
